Ariana Watson Obituary
Louisville - age 12, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019. She will be deeply missed for her bubbly, sassy, yet loving, kindhearted, and beautiful personality.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Sue Harris, and Carmen Watson-Scott; and uncle, John Matthew Watkins.
Ariana is survived by her parents, Ashley and Doug Watkins, Jr.; brother, Stephen A. Watson; grandparents, Virgil Horsley (Jennifer), Doug Watkins, Sr. (Patricia), Dennis Watson-Scott; aunts, Angela Peters (Samuel), Jessica Sandau (James Hebb), Tonia Watson, Rita Kinkston; uncles, Brandon Watkins (Brianna), Patrick Watkins (Ashley), Mason Watkins, and John Watson; and many great-grandparents and cousins.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Louisville, KY 40216. Burial will follow at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Leitchfield, KY.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Owen Funeral Home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the KY Organ Donors Association (kyorgandonor.org); or WHAS Crusade For Children (whascrusade.org).

Hey Ariana, you´ve been heavy on my mind lately I wish we could still have the times we used to I keep remembering how we´d talk at our lockers and on the way to class about just random everything.. I miss you and I hope you´ve been well, I hate to say I almost joined you early July not intentional but I went out the back of a truck... I´m still healing with it but I´m doing a lot better than I was originally.. just wish I´d have you here to be able to see how you´d be doing and everything I´m proud of you either way I´m sure your doing amazing up there.. you always have done amazing I don´t see it ever stopping <3

Hey sis,
I'm in college now about to soon move onto sophomore year. I'm on my last semester of my freshman year. I still think of you, its weird I type on here as if I'm texting you still. I understand you can't see this but it still comforts me I guess to let it out. I still think about you. Though sometimes I get scared. What if I lose my memories of you? My memory hasn't been good lately but I promise one thing I will live on for you. Just like I promised. I love you Ariana. Miss you and wish you could be here with me. You'd love it here sis. I'm out of Louisville and got a whole new chance at life. Everyone here is so nice. Just like you. I miss you so much don't forget that I love you. Wherever you are I know you will be making jokes still.

Dear Ariana,
Michaela and I just wanted to say we love and miss you. Always. We look back at your pictures, videos, and think of all the good times. I have your cute videos of you brushing my hair, the family lunch times, the times we LOL got your mom, and we think back to when you jumped in my car hiding from your mom. <3 Such good times. We always think about you and Michaela having your slumber sleepover trying to scare me. Well remember who tapped out, you. LOL We miss you Ariana. A lot. Your mom, Stephen, Dougie, and Michaela gave me a birthday party. I couldn't have had a better one. Thanks for giving me them as family. I needed one. Your mom smiled. We was a few birthday's behind. When we sang we said 3 different people's names. :-) I just know you was looking down laughing at us. Oh and don't worry you won, AGAIN. Michaela is CONVINCED you are messing with the balloons today like that. So she for sure thinks that tops scary movie night with you two against me. <3 Just remember we all love, miss, and really wish you was here with us. Although at times it still feels like you are. You truly are the best second daughter I ever could've had. Thank you for getting your mom and I together for school lunch. Having your family as my family. Changed our lives. We feel a little bit less alone. Still hear your laugh. Still see your smile. Still remember your jokes and how you LOVED to outdo me and scare Kada belle. Never forget how loved you are. Never forget how special you are. 10 to 50 years from now we will all have this page filled up with memories and life we wanted to tell you like right now. I'm glad you're watching over Michaela. She really needs that. If you did those balloons this morning which she's CONVINCED that was did. You got me last, for now bahahaha. You got her. It has us laughing, smiling, and not gonna lie was scared just like you always did getting me. Thank you. I miss you. I promised back then, I promised you in your ear, and I promise you now. I will always be there forever for your family. Don't worry. Hug my babies for me. Hug my brother. Please tell my grandma I miss her also. You're the best angel ever. Even though we all miss you. It feels sometimes LIKE TODAY you're literally in this room messing with us. LOL xoxo sending all my love, hugs, and goofy jokes to you. Thank you for being you.
