Conrad Wettle Obituary

Conrad J. Wettle Sr., 82, of Louisville, formerly of Shelby Parkway, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2004, at Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville's inpatient at Norton Healthcare Pavilion. He was a machine operator for over 40 years at C. Lee Cook and a member of American Turners of Louisville and their seniors club, Machinists Local 681, Quarter Century Bowling Association and St. Vincent de Paul and St. Elizabeth Catholic churches. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Conrad Jr. and Janice Wettle and Ralph and Helen Wettle; four grandchildren, Teri and Jason Wettle, Angie Holley and Kim Ward; and five great-grandchildren, Brandon and Jacob Wettle, Tyler Mosby and Erin and Elizabeth Ward. The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2004, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 1020 E. Burnett Ave., with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday at Russman & Son. Expressions of sympathy may go to Hospice of Louisville.
