Frank Elmen Obituary

Frank J. Elmen, 84, of Louisville, passed away Saturday at the VA Medical Center. He was a native of Musselshell County, MT, and a retired sergeant, having served for 35 years. He was a POW in World War II and called up for the Vietnam War. He worked for the National Guard as a diesel mechanic and belonged to the AARP Audubon Chapter 3863, Our Mother of Sorrows Senior Citizens and the Golden Years at St. Elizabeth. He had many friends at Wal-Mart Bingo for senior citizens on Hurstbourne Lane and the Salvation Army Senior Citizens. He is survived by his wife, Mary Paulin Graviss. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Arch. L. Heady & Son-Hikes Point Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington. Visitation will be from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may go to the Volunteer Services for VA Hospice c/o VA Medical Center, 800 Zorn Ave., Louisville, KY 40206.
