Fred Edington

EDINGTON FRED, 79, died Monday, November 10, 2008. He was a member of the Poplar Level Baptist Church where he had been a deacon and a building and grounds committee member. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Martha Brooks Edington, of Louisville; his daughters, Vicky Simpson (Roger) and Kathy Hall, both of Louisville; his son, Scott Edington (Vicki) of Louisville; his brothers, Russell Edington (Delores) of Boston, MA, and James Edington (Fannie Lee) of Louisville; his sister, Annie Clark of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral service will 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Shannon Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Burial is in the Bagdad Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
