Jeanette Willett Obituary
83, of Louisville passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 7th, 2017.
She was born March 3, 1934 in Lebanon, KY; daughter of the late Hattie Votaw and Owen Mudd.
Jeanette retired from Philip Morris in 1993 after 22 years of service.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her children, John A. Willett and Judith M. Willett and her half-brothers, Norman Dean Hughes, Carroll Votaw.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her children: Joni L. Rennirt, James K. Willett (Pam), J. Dean Willett (Paula); Grandchildren, Carrie Meurer, Lisa Rennirt McKeehan, Cody Willett, Taylor Willett, Evan Willett, Justine Kuntz and Tyler Kuntz, Kaley Willett and Alec Willett; great-grandchildren, Ian Meurer, Dylan Meurer and Cameron McKeehan; half-brothers, Philip and David Votaw; half-sister, Peggy Votaw; cousins Carolyn Craig and Judy Vetter, Sondra McDonald, Linda Harris, Nolan Robinson, Russel, Dennis and Daryl Craig.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 10th, 2017 at Saint Peter the Apostle, 5431 Johnsontown Rd with burial to follow in Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Monday, October 9th, 2017 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
In lieu of flowers, it was Jeanette's request that Memorial gifts may be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 811 W. Evergreen Avenue, Suite 303, Chicago, Illinois 60642 or to The Healing Place,1020 W. Market St. Louisville, KY 40202.
