John Gant Obituary
97 passed away May 17, 2016
He was a former pastor of Eastern Star Baptist Church, the
founder and pastor emeritus of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, a member of Chief Shepard Baptist Church, a member of Twilight Ministers and Deacons of Louisville and a member of the Central District of Kentucky Baptists.
Survivors are daughter, Anita Gant-Boler (Alex); grandchildren, Rev. Duane Turner (Mary), Debra Turner and Donna Craig(Dennis); four great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 10-11 a.m. Saturday with funeral services following, both at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 3640 Cane Run Road with burial in Green meadows Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to G.C. Williams Funeral Home.
