Lauren Graham Obituary

AUSTIN GRAHAM, LAUREN L., 22, died Sunday, December 12, 2004, in Columbia, SC. She was born April 4, 1982 in Louisville, the daughter of Eric and Diane Nowlin Graham. She graduated with honors in 2000 from Scottsburg (IN) High School, where she played on the varsity tennis and volleyball teams. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science with a minor in business administration from the University of South Carolina. She was a member of Beta Omicron Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. She was a volunteer for fundraising for The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation and also for a homeless program in Columbia. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather. In addition to her parents she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Sam and Norma Nowlin of Scottsburg and paternal grandmother, Adde Mae Graham of Scottsburg. Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Scottsburg, with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2004, and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Arrangements by Stewart Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Community Foundation and will be directed to support Breast Cancer Research or Scott County School Districts 1 and 2 Tennis Program in care of Stewart Funeral Home, 80 N. 1st St., Scottsburg, IN 47170.
