Ruth Anne was an important and beloved member of Cactus Wren Republican Women. She was one of those rare humble creatures who never touted her accomplishments or intellect but you knew she was a powerhouse anyway. One time we attended a conference at the Grand Canyon Lodge. She drove, we shared a room and she was the ideal roommate and traveler. She left a big footprint in the world of Immigration and would have been horrified by the current events there. She was delightful in every way and I feel honored to have walked with her for awhile in life!

I was saddened to learn of Ruth Anne's passing.
I had the privilege of working with her during my tenure with the US Attorneys Office in AZ. She was a superb administrator who understood the issues and approached them with intellectual honesty. Her interpersonal skills shown forth in the art of diplomacy and cooperation. Always the wise counselor and strong advocate, she could forge a consensus on critical issues. Yet it was her genuine warmth and pleasant demeanor that surrounded her with so many friends and admirers.
In post retirement, we visited during Diamondback games and at Joe's Diner.
RIP dear friend.

Ruth Anne will be remembered for dedicating her life to helping keep our country safe, for breaking through so many of the "glass ceilings" women encountered in the workforce, and for how she worked to inspire women everywhere. She was an amazing woman... It was an honor to know her. May her memory be a blessing to all her loved ones.

A long time old friend who was not old but a friend from grade school. Always a simile. So sad.

Ruth was a woman that lite up the room with her presence. She made you laugh and I admired Ruth Meyers during my career with INS in the 90s. Rest In Peace
