Willard E. Parr

NEW ALBANY PARR, WILLARD E., 88, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2004, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. He was a native of Alton, IN, a maintenance supervisor for the old Stauffer Chemical Co. in Louisville and an Army veteran of World War II. Willard was a member of DePauw Memorial United Methodist Church and a Mason for over 50 years at Jefferson Lodge #104 F&AM. Survivors include his wife, Wilma (Oakes) Parr of New Albany; a daughter, Andrea Parr of New Albany; three brothers, Dan Parr of Greenville, IN, Harley Parr of New Albany and Robert Parr of Clarksville, TN; a sister, Shirley Taylor of Florida; and two grandchildren, Drew Arnold and his wife, Sheri, and Meredith Terry and her husband, Brad. His funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Sunday.
