Beulah Cote Obituary

Beulah I. Cote
loving mother, grandmother,

great-grandmother

EDGEWATER, FL -- Beulah I. (Gelineau) Cote, 91, died Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the Halifax Health Hospice in Edgewater, FL. She was the beloved wife of the late Victor H. Cote.

Born in Lowell, on August 19, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Valerie (Jette) Gelineau.

Mrs. Cote was a former resident of Dracut and Tyngsboro. She loved time spent with her family. She spent summers here with Karen and Donna, and her winters in Florida with Warren and Bonnie. She enjoyed Monday evening boat rides on the lake in Tyngsboro with Donna's family, and never missed a Tuesday night dinner with Karen's family. She always looked forward to spending the holidays with Warren's family. She loved the trips to Markey's with her cousin for chowder, lobster, and the one beer she allowed herself. She was an avid Red Sox fan. Her Grandchildren and Great- Grandchildren were very important to her, and she treasured the time she spent with them.

She is survived by her four children, Karen Dubois and her husband Roger of Dracut, Warren Cote and his wife Laura of Edgewater FL, Donna Stamp and her husband Albert of Tyngsboro, and Bonnie Noel of New Smyrna Beach FL; two brothers, Donald Gelineau of Tyngsboro and Ernest Gelineau and his wife Constance of Lowell; 10 grandchildren Chris St. Jean, Jonathan Dubois, Michael St. Jean, Thomas St. Jean, Jason Stamp, Nicole Finglas, Brooke Couto, Jennifer Stamp, Jessica Merodis, and Brittany Cote; 13 great- grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Shane Dubois, sister of the late Robert Gelineau and sister-in-law of the late Lucille Gelineau.

COTE -- Relatives and friends are invited to Beulah's Life Celebration on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Her Funeral Service will be offered on Thursday morning at 10 AM in the Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. To all of my nieces, nephews, and Extended Family,

You have lost a TREASURE. My heart is heavy with sorrow for all of you, including me. BEULAH became a huge part of my life 68 years ago when your Dad was courting her.

Because your Dad's mom was paralyzed in a wheelchair, while he courted BEULAH, he took my mother along with me to all occasions, but mostly drive in movies. BEULAH was such a good sport and respected my brother (just home from WW 2) for loving his mother abd extended family.

They had a beautiful wedding (seems like yesterday) but they built their first home and thus began giving life to all of you - they were so proud of being parents, grandparents, and great grandparents. How does one describe BEULAH? Here is what I said to her a few years ago" BEULAH, at our family reunions, you are always the best dressed and most beautiful of all" and I was sincere. At this very sorrowful time of your lives, rejoice with the knowledge of knowing she was kind, loving, generous as well as beautiful woman and all who know her love her.

She will always be with you in your hearts, and certainly in mine. So many treasured memories. Please know she wants all of you to continue on being the tremendous kin.

Love,
Aunt Emma ((Dee)
