Auf Wiedersehen Peggers! I had to convince you to be my friend, but once you "warmed up" to me, we became Best Friends and with it a time that I will never forget. We supported each other thru thick and sin(not a typo) and laught as much as we could. You played many practical jokes and I was mostly your subject. somehow I never caught on.I could go on and on, but you get the message. I miss you and there always be a big hole in my heart.

I knew Peggy since 40 years by my sister Birte. She was not only interested in global politics, social issues, not only a highly dedicated, intelligent woman for the equal rights of women, but had a big heart for all friends and their lives. In addition, she was a great hostess, always ready to look at life positively and to have fun specially in the circle of her friends.
It was granted that she quietly passed away. Although much too soon, but I will always remember her as a cheerful, active, life-affirming and warm-hearted friend.
Farewell from Germany, Peggy, it was wonderful knowing you.
Your Grieta

Just know my special friend is still watching out for me. Peggy was there at all times to lend a hand, especially during my hip recovery-bringing in the paper, mail and running to the store.
Many fun e-mail exchanges especially the pet ones and lots of laughs at breakfast and lunch outings.
I will greatly miss your "on the mark" advice and thoughts and great sense of humor.
