Roger Blanchette Obituary
Roger W. Blanchette, 85, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 30, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was the loving husband for over 60+ years of Lorraine M. (Lagasse) Blanchette, who survives him.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, August 20, 1935, the son of the late Edward and the late Alice (Desmarais) Blanchette, he received his education in the Lowell school system.
A veteran of the Vietnam War, Roger proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.
Prior to his retirement, Roger worked in facilities management for the Digital Credit Union in Salem, NH for several years.
A member of the Pelham American Legion Post 100, Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting and holding yards sales. However, his greatest joy was being with his family and hosting family cook outs.
Besides his wife Lorraine, he is survived by seven children Karen M. Eichhorn and her husband Richard of Salem, NH, Allen G. Blanchette and Heather Boggs of North Carolina, Randall Blanchette of Pelham, NH, Donna M. Stone and her husband David of Dublin, NH, Kimberly A. Blanchette of Pelham, Sandra J. DeMoura and her husband Dwayne of Nashua, NH and Roger R. Blanchette and his wife Kelly of Pelham, NH; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; four sisters Janet Hebert and her husband Henry of Lowell, Pauline Michaud and her partner Raymond Levesque of Chester, NH, Susan LaMotte of Taunton, MA and Jewels Pare of Worcester, MA; and many nieces and nephews.
Roger was also predeceased by his siblings Alice Lambert, George, Albert, Donald, Maurice and Richard Blanchette.
