Henry Combs Obituary
Henry Combs, 86, of La Porte, Indiana, passed May 9, 2022, at home.
He was born March 28, 1936, in Knott County, Kentucky, the son of Roosevelt and Grace (Francis) Combs.
He enjoyed working on computers, woodworking, gardening and bird watching.
He is survived by his two daughters, Dawn (Michael) Lemberis and Debra (Stephen) Meegan; two sons, Peter J. (Gayle) Hill and Brian P. (Shelly) Hill; eight grandchildren, Steve, Elysia, Robert, Austin, Andrew, Courtney, Seth and Sydney; five great-grandchildren, Stevie, Madison, Emma, Boston and Landon; sister, Venna; and a brother, Utah.
Henry was preceded in death by both his parents; wife, Shirley; daughter, Diane; and his sister, Eula.
Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Indiana, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022. A Life Celebration will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev Steve Galloway officiating.
