Dale Lowe Obituary

Dale & Jean Lowe

Charlotte - Dale Lowe (81) and Jean Lowe (72) of Charlotte, Mi. walked hand in hand into Heaven Wednesday, September 16th 2020. They were loved by everyone who knew them and our only comfort is knowing they are together in the presence of the Lord they loved so much.

They shared a great Faith in God, an amazing love for family and for each other. They are survived by their children Tammy Lowe, Timothy (Barb) Lowe, Terry Michael Lowe, Ken (Robin) Hill, Teresa (Phillip) Myers, James (Aimee) Hill, Vicki (Don) Wenzlick and Sarah (Kyle) Coppernoll. They loved every minute spent with their 17 Grandchildren and their 13 Great-Grandchildren. Each one has special memories they will cherish forever.

The family will be accepting visitors October 2nd from 5-7pm and there will be a Celebration of Love held on October 3rd at 2pm for family and close friends at Chester Gospel Church located at 3744 W. Vermontville Hwy. Charlotte, Mi 48813. The service will be streamed live for those who are unable to attend at https://www.facebook.com/chestergospelchurch. Another gathering will be planned this summer so we can all be together to celebrate their lives and love.

In leu of flowers donations can be made to A New Beginning Pregnancy Center of Charlotte Mi.

Dale & Jean attended the same church in Eagle when I was a teenager and they both taught at the Christian school I attended. Jean was always so patient and understanding. Dale had a 6th sense; was a great listener (even to teen drama lol) and seemed to always know the perfect things to say when someone needed encouragement & understanding. It's been a long time since I've seen them but they certainly left a very lasting impression and will always be lovingly remembered.

Dale was a talented singer, a fun and caring youth leader,a generous soul who would plow driveways before he went to work. We were in a trio that went around to churches to sing; but mostly he was my wonderful Uncle. Good memories will live on in our hearts.

Jean was a best friend of my mother's for over 25 years. They worked at the pregnancy center together and shared many other ministries for Christ. I know she loved her family more than anything because she was always talking about them and sharing fun stories. She was an awesome homeschool mom even back in the day when it was misunderstood and marginalized. She is a great example of a faithful friend and she lived her life well. She will be greatly missed and remembered.

Dale was the very best friend to my father and because of their relationship I spent a lot of time with him. He was a spiritual leader by deeds. He was patient and kind. I never saw him lose his temper. He loved children and nature and working with his hands. He enjoyed singing Gospel songs with my dad and they got to visit several churches and go on many adventures together. He will be greatly missed and remembered.

We shared a last name although I don't believe we are related. We are of the same age group and the age difference between the two of us is the same as between Dale and Jean. Probably married for about the same length of time. How lucky for them that they took that final trip together. Rejoice in that. Find comfort in that they are still together enjoying each others company. May God be with you during this very difficult time and know that others, even those you don't know, are praying for your family hear on earth and those that left us.
