Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, January 8, 2023, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Bruno Parent. Loving mother to Julien (Moira), the late Lise Gratton (Fred), the late Marcel , Suzanne Spiece (Chris), Maurice (Debbie), the late Denis, the late Richard, Rene (Denise), Lucie (Benoit), Paul (the late Paul Biscop) and Pierre (Susan). Francoise is survived by her 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Jacqueline and Annette and many relatives and friends. Francoise was involved in the Women's League at the Immaculee Conception Church for many years. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, January 15th 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculee Conception Church, 101 Garnet Street, St. Catharines on Monday, January 16th at 11 a.m. Burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Family and friends are invited back to the Royal Canadian Legion Merritton at 2 Chestnut Street, East, St. Catharines, ON from 1-4 p.m. If so desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
