ADAM DAHL Adam Troy Dahl, 37, passed away March 15, 2017. A native of Las Vegas, he was born Aug. 9, 1979, the son of Rick and Nancy Dahl. Adam's calling cards were his sense of humor, fearlessness and a sense of loyalty. He grew up around cars and as a young boy often went to work with his father, where he would drive laps around his father's shop in the "Rice Rocket," an old, red, stick-shift Toyota, earning himself the lifelong nickname "Dizzle" from his friends. Later on, his access to cars and machinery at a young age afforded him a career building engines for both race cars and custom orders. Adam's love and knowledge of cars and racing gave him the opportunity to be the original organizer of the "Street Outlaw Racers" in Las Vegas. Adam always considered the "speed limit" a suggestion. He is survived by his three sons, Eric, Ivan and Aiden; his parents, Rick and Nancy Dahl; two brothers, Michael, and his wife, Violetta Dahl, and Matthew and his wife, April Dahl; two sisters, Brenda, and her husband, William Ells, and Julie Dahl; and by many extended family and friends. Viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 25, with service following at 10:30 a.m., both at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at 4340 W. Warm Springs Road, Las Vegas. Burial will be later that day at the Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. An open reception will follow the burial, at the Boulder Dam Brewery Restaurant, 453 Nevada Highway, Boulder City.
