I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Our friendship was so strong we turned into family no matter the distance we still made memories to cherish thru the years. Love and God Bless all of you!

Jack Abercrombie, you touched our lives
with such joy. My condolence to your wife and family. Bubba and Paula have
been my best friends for years.
My fondest memory of Jack is being allowed to go hunting with the boys
up to Jarbidge, NV. He taught me so
much, specially how to build a camp fire to heat our hot apple ciders.
The fire lasted all night and so did we. My husband loved Jack dearly. He
passed away this past year...I guess
he went ahead to get the fire started
for Jack. The Bourbon and cider should
be just right by now.

It just doesn't seem more than 70 years since I as a 12 yr-old boy saw Jack's logging truck parked in front of the Shoupe Place in Taylor County, GA when Jack would come courting Mary on Sundays. He would be so tired he spent much of the time napping. My sympathy, love and prayers to the whole family for your loss.
