Mike Downing was kind and generous and valued family. He made an effort to deepen those bonds, and we grew closer in recent years. He will be missed. My condolences to his loved ones.

Mike was always a poker player that could put a smile on my face. Winning or losing, he loved the game, and he loved the people he played with. He really did have a huge heart, once a friend, always a friend. I will always remember his grin after pulling off a huge bluff. Mike will remain in my heart. I send blessings and condolences to his family.
