ZACHARY FREEMAN Zachary Philip Freeman, 30, of Henderson, passed away May 12, 2014. Zach was born Feb. 9, 1984, in Santa Monica, Calif., to Gerald Freeman and Roxanne Lang. Zach has lived in Malibu, Calif., and Nipton, Calif. He began school in Mt. Pass, and then went to Selma Bartlett, Greenspun Junior High, Green Valley High School, UNLV and the New York Film Academy. Zach's creative genius spans outlets including cinematic shorts, improv, poetic writing, screenplays and acting. He had his own comedy show on Raw Vegas TV. He wrote two books, "Walking the Line" and "Two Sane," and arranged and produced three music albums, "Unmedicated," "Undiagnosed," and "Insane." He will be remembered for his empathetic persona, kind heart, sensitivity and perceptivity. He is loved and survived by his brothers, Nick (Tammie) and Jonathan (Joelle); his parents, Roxanne and Gerald; grandparents, Tony and Betty Lang; many aunts, uncles, cousins; niece; and nephews. His artistic spirit and fond memories will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 16, at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane. Burial following at King David Cemetery. Donations may be made to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.

Zachary,
In the last few years when we were able to hang out you would tell me what type of person you thought you were. I never got a chance to clearly explain to you who I thought you were, or what type of person I thought you were. You can forget all the labels we use to describe people, because out of all of them, you, man, were the best.
It was your constant self evaluation that made you grow into a better person everyday. No one is perfect. When you would revisit your criticism towards others, you quickly realized the only part of the situation you were able to change was yourself. Even though neither variable in the equation needed change. This is how I know you genuinely loved the people around you. You were exceptional.
The dedication you put towards your creative movies, songs, and books inspired strangers whom you've never even met. Looking back now; I truly think you are a person who could, if he wanted too, accomplish anything they wanted too. You were gifted. You were great.
Upon each Kansas City visit you brought me a gift, and when you gave me advice it came from your heart. You once told me we made a good team. You were my brother.
Zach, do you remember the surf and skate internet company we wanted to create? It was when we returned from the beach in Laguna. You created, among other things, the company mascot. It was a toad that spoke with an English accent... that had to be 15 years ago.
I'll miss all the adventures we used to go on, but most of all I will miss you.

Ohhhh NOOO!! OMG ZACH!!! Zach I know I didn't know you long. But for the time that I did you touched a special place in my heart. Zachary was a friend to those he knew and those he just met. He was always willing to help others without giving a second thought. Although it saddens those that loved him, Those in heaven have gained a special Angel. Our sincere condolences to Zachary's family and friends. We so enjoyed meeting Zach in 2007 and having him stay with us a few days in Edmonton. He made our son's wedding special with his presence and helpfulness. A truly talented and charming man.
