Warner Robins, GA- Barbara Ann Gibson, 78, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.
Barbara was born on January 6, 1938 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late John Melvin and Annie Tucker Wooley. She was a medical transcriptionist for several local hospitals including the Coliseum Medical Centers, Houston Medical Center, and Coliseum Northside Hospital before retiring. Barbara was also a devoted member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church and Joe's Sunday School class. Traveling was among her favorite pastimes.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 29 years, Clifford T. Gibson; her children, Lee Maddox, Rhonda Riddle, Ginger Orem, and Lane Maddox; stepchildren, David, Scott, Steven, Bruckner, and Katrina Gibson; brother, Steve Wooley; a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, June 17th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18th in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with the Reverend Joe Haselden officiating. Afterwards, Mrs. Gibson will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Barbara to Shirley Hills Baptist Church Building Fund, 615 Corder Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

To the Family, Mrs.Gibson and Hoot were our first neighbors and we cherished your friendship. I always told Mrs.Gibson how beautiful she looked. What a blessing it was to be able to walk across the street and catch-up. I hated to see her so sick at times but I know that she is with our Lord now and suffers no more.
