James Purnell Obituary
Macon, GA- A Homegoing Celebration for James Purnell will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Reverend Mable Randall will officiate. Interment services will follow in Macon Memorial Park. A Macon native, 81, Mr. Purnell passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013.
He leaves a legacy of fond memories to be cherished by his devoted wife, Frances Purnell; a loving mother, Willie Mae Purnell; five children, Edward (Patricia) Purnell, Deborah (Matthew) Bonner, Steven Valentine, Willette (Leonard) Humphries and Thomas Purnell; four sisters, eighteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 6-7 P.M. Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in the chapel of Jones Brothers Mortuary, and may be contacted at 110 Smith Lane, Macon
Jones Brothers Mortuary, 3035 Millerfield Rd, Macon.
