John Carter Obituary

John Clyde Carter -MACON - John Clyde Carter, 74, died Saturday, September 16, 2006. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday at the home of J. C. Carter at 286 College Street in Macon. -Mr. Carter, a native and lifelong resident of Macon, was a retired building supervisor contractor with Southern Pine Plantation and a Korean War Army Veteran. -Survivors include his wife Edythe Horne Carter; son John Joseph Carter II; and daughter Amy Sweat, all of Macon; brother George Carter of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Gibson Aultman and Rachel Carter. -Moores Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Edith, John & Amy: Marilyn told me of her fathers passing and I just wanted you to know that I am keeping your family in my prayers. He made me feel so welcome when we stayed at your home on our visit after Johns graduation. I will always remember target practing with JC at the quarry lake.
