Warner Robins, GA- Mr. John Warren Shiver, 72, passed away on Monday, September 23,
2013. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Rev. Wayne Searcy will officiate the service.
Mr. Shiver was born on January 8, 1941 in Danville, GA, to the late Mr. Richard W. and Annabelle (Pettis) Shiver. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, retiring as Electronics Technician Senior Chief and he was also retired from Brown and Williamson tobacco industry. Mr. Shiver was a member of Stone Creek Baptist Church and Moose Lodge. Mr. Shiver was preceded in death by his wife Jaqulin J. Shiver of thirty-two years, Brother Donald Shiver and Sister Carol Schoonover.
Survivors include his children Robert Shiver of Temple, GA, Monica (Eric) Johnson, of Ft. Valley, GA, Alyson (Tim) O'Brien, Jeff McCray, both of Warner Robins, GA, Michele (Robert) Berglof, of Maryville, TN, Jeremy Floyd of Macon, GA, Sister Judy (Billy) Griffin, of Centerville, GA, Sister in law Rita Shiver, of Jonesboro, GA, Nine Grandchildren, Three Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
