Kathleen Veline Obituary
August 26, 1950 - March 5, 2016
Warner Robins, GA- Kathleen R. Veline, 65, entered into rest on Saturday, March 5, 2016.
Kathy was born in Ithaca, New York on August 26, 1950. She earned her bachelor's degree from Queens College and her master's degree from Georgia College and State University. In 1975, Kathy moved to Warner Robins and has been a resident ever since.
Kathy was a retired educator from Houston County schools. She was active in her retirement and loved playing dominos every Monday night with her Domino Divas. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Warner Robins and active in the Circle bible study group. Kathy was blessed to have many friends, who provided love and support throughout her life. She enjoyed reading and watching the Florida Gators play football. The daughter of a plant pathologist, Kathy loved gardening and tending to her yard, including plants she transplanted from her father's own garden. She volunteered with the Nutcracker of Middle Georgia for many years. Her friends and family will remember Kathy for her generosity and for her ability to bring humor to every situation.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Daniel A. Roberts of Gainesville, Florida. Survivors include her two daughters, Kristin E. Veline (Selcuk Mazlum) of Leesburg, Virginia, Ashley Veline of Warner Robins, her son, Eric Veline (Emily) of Roswell, Georgia, her brothers, Pete Roberts (Ann) of Marietta, Georgia, Steve Roberts (Laura) of Larkspur, Colorado, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will be private.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Humane Society of Houston County, 810 Carl Vinson Parkway, Centerville, GA 31028.

She was my 6th grade teacher when i went to Huntington middle. I was surprised to hear that she had passed away. She will be greatly missed.

My prayers are with you children. Kathy was always such a happy person leaving happiness wherever she went. She shared such a beautiful smile all along the way. I will greatly miss her but I'm sure she entered heaven with a glowing face and a heart full of love.
