Pearlie Mae Woodson -UNADILLA - Ms. Pearlie Mae Woodson died Thursday, July 10, 2003 in the Taylor Regional Hospital, Hawkinsville, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1P.M. in the Evergreen Baptist Church, Pinehurst with burial in the Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery, Unadilla. Rev. David Thomas will officiate. -Ms. Woodson was born in Dooly County, the daughter of the late Ben Woodson and Mobile Gyden. She joined the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church at an early age. Later, she united with the Evergreen Baptist Church. -Survivors include her children: Mary Lou Campbell, Havana, FL, Alice Mae Henry, Carrie Taylor and Ester Woodson, all of Unadilla; and the Rev. Kenneth (Karol) Jones, Hopkinsville, KY; step-mother, Minnie Mae Woodson, Tampa, FL; five sisters: Janie Mae Clark of Havana, FL, Alice Burks of Pinehurst, Eula Cone, Viola Phillips and Ruby Johnson, all of Tampa, FL; four brothers: Joe L. (Annie) Woodson, Decatur, Charles (Rita) Woodson and Benjamin (Karen) Woodson, all of Tampa, FL and Charlie C. Woodson, Havana, FL; two uncles; two aunts; several grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and other relatives. -The family may be contacted at 350 Cherry Street, Unadilla. -The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5:00 until 7:00P.M. -Alvie Coes Funeral Home in Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
