Tammy Eidson Hooker -MACON - Tammy Lynn Eidson Hooker, 47, of Macon, died Monday, August 22, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 4P.M. Friday, August 26, 2005 at Waterloo Baptist Church with the Rev. Wilton Grimes and the Rev. Randall Gay officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors - Tiftarea Chapel, Tifton. -Joey Hester, Paul Easter, Lanny Pike, James Hester, Joseph Hester, Tyler Eidson and Thad Brogdon will serve as pallbearers. -Mrs. Hooker was born April 18, 1958 in Tift County to Warren L. Eidson and Frances Hester Eidson who live in Waterloo. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Eidson, who died in 1993, and her father-in-law, R. E. Hooker. -Mrs. Hooker was a native of Waterloo and had lived in Valdosta and Macon. She graduated from Irwin County High School in 1976, and then graduated with a BBA from Valdosta State University in 1980. She was employed by Southern Trust Insurance Company, Macon, as an accountant and supervisor. She was a member of Waterloo Baptist Church and attended Vineville North Baptist Church in Macon. She loved her church, her friends, and her family. She fought strongly for five years and was an inspiration to many people. -In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hooker is survived by her husband, Tim Hooker of Macon to whom she was married for twenty-one years; one niece, Kristen E. Brogdon of Winder; one nephew, Tyler Eidson of Athens; her mother-in-law, Coye Dell Hooker of Valdosta; four sisters-in-law, Vickie Combass who also was a special caretaker, Susan Higginbotham, Laura Kennedy, and Pat Cowart; and two brothers-in-law, Archie Hooker and Gene Coody. -Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors - Tiftarea Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
