Ellis lead by example - Gentle, with a warm smile lighting the way for others. I spent a few years in the Municipal Court and it was always a joy to work with Ellis. My heart dropped & my breath caught when I read his notice & this old Irish blessing/prayer came to mind:
In Time of Sorrow...
May you see God's light on the path ahead
when the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear, even in your hour of sorrow,
the gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard,
may hardness never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember when the shadows fall-
You Do Not Walk Alone.
My heart goes out to each of you.
