Winifred T. Herring -BYRON - Winifred T. Herring, 78, passed away on May 18, 2007. -Mrs. Herring was born on January 11, 1929 in Thomaston, GA. She was a member of The Refuge Assembly of God Church. Her husband William B. Herring and parents, Elzie Lee and Pauline Harris Thompson, and a brother, Lawrence Randel Thompson preceded her in death. -Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Kitchens (John Wayne), Lizella; her daughter, Kathy Herring, Byron; Grandchildren, Johnny Kitchens, Michelle Pierce, Windy Luttrell, Benjie and Brian Kitchens and Tiffany Sheffield; Great-grandchildren, John, III, Brittany, Jessica, Katie, Abbie, Taylor, Autumn, Brayden, Benjie and Kayla, Janie, and David "Buddy"; Sister, Nedra Bradley; brothers, Jimmie Thompson, Wayne Thompson and Tommy Thompson.Ê -Mrs. Herring lived her life for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as being a mom to her brothers and sisters.Ê -Visitation will be Monday, May 21, 2007 from 5:30 until 7:30 P.M. at McCullough Funeral Home.
