I feel I was lucky to have known you for more years than I can count. You were a class act and a nice guy even for a Dodger fan. My sympathies to the family.

What I can say about Mark besides he was a nice guy is he was also very smart! He chose the Chicago Bears football team and routed for them proudly every Sunday! My deepest sympathy to all the members of his family! How very sad!

Mark always had a smile on his face whenever I would see him. It was always special to enjoy Badger football games with Mark and Dave Henry. It was just a fun time with Mark leading the way. My condolences to his family. He was a special man. I am so lucky to have met him and enjoyed our few times together.

I am still in shock and so sad. Mark was always so full of life and so positive. Everyone in our East High School class just loved him. He was a fun guy with character. He sure loved his family, so very proud of you all, and his absence in this life will surely be felt by so many people whose lives he touched with his humor, friendship, and so many other traits. I am so very sorry for your loss.

What an amazing person and even better friend Mark (the "Duker") was. Mark was a person who helped remind all of us of important life values, he made us feel valued and appreciated, he had a wonderful laugh and caused us to laugh, his loyalty was unquestioned and you saw in him love of family, friends, coaching his young High School bowling team and also we saw in him, a genuine respect for his faith. It was easy to give him a hug and he would give you a hug back. He did so many things well, including serving on East's 1969 High School Reunion Committee for many, many years. We were honored and blessed to know him as a friend, teammate and more than anything else, just a great, great guy. We miss you Buddy!!
