Anne Hric Obituary
Anne Joan Hric, formerly of Sharon, PA, died comfortably with family by her side at 9:57 P.M., Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in Windsor, Colorado. She was 98. Anne was born December 27, 1926, in New Castle, PA, to Ludwick and Anastasia (Lazuta) Radkowski.
Anne attended Hickory High School in Hermitage and graduated from Youngstown State University with a BA and MA in Elementary Education. For 31 years, she taught at St. Joseph's Parochial School in Sharon, PA. Anne later substituted for Athens Georgia Public Elementary Schools from age 81 to 85. She lived in Voorhees, NJ, for her last eight years.
Anne volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, sang in church choirs, bowled, and mentored students with challenging family dynamics. Anne was a devout Catholic and a prayer warrior; her favorite passage she quoted nightly was Psalm 23. Anne came to understand the "Gospel of Grace" at a Navigator conference when she was 52. Ephesians 2:8,9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast."
Anne is survived by her children: Raymond G. Hric, Kathleen A. Hric, Ed.D, Marlene S. (Hric) Crocco, and Jerome J. Hric, M.D., and wife Susan Kiley Hric; her nine grandchildren: Timothy Hric, D.O., Brian Hric, Cathy Crocco, Daniel Crocco, Jessica (Justin) Swires, Meghan (Jesse) Carrajat, Joshua (Shefali) Hric, Jonathan (Jay Tighe) Hric, David (Kersty) Hric; and her eight great-grandchildren: Aaron and Lillian Hric; Kaylee, Nolan and Makenna Swires; Elsie, Emma and "JJ" Carrajat.
In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Hric, Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Edith (McIntyre) Hric; and her eight brothers, Steve, John, Frank, Peter, Louis, Leo, Paul, and Stanley Radkowski and their wives.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday (2-13-25) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday (2-14-25) in St. Joseph Church, 79 Case Ave., Sharon, with Rev. Ray Gramata, as celebrant.
Entombment will immediately follow at St. Rose Mausoleum, Hermitage.
