Judith Hoyte Obituary

Judith A. Hoyte, 72, of Rome died Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born December 7, 1949 in Rome, NY, the daughter of Frederick and Charlotte Stanger Ballister. She graduated from Holland Patent Central School in 1968. On September 5, 1970 she married Thomas H. Hoyte. Judith worked as a secretary for Marcy Psychiatric Center, retiring in 2005. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Juan-Carlos and Alissa Hoyte; a granddaughter, Elena Leia Hoyte; a grandson, Hayden Thomas Hoyte; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Cindy Ballister; also surviving is Thomas H. Hoyte. She was predeceased by a sister Mary Jones and three brothers, Robert, Wilson "Buzz", and Cliff Ballister. Funeral services will be held 4 pm Sunday at Prince-Boyd & Hyatt Home for Funerals, Inc., 210 W. Court St., Rome, NY.
