Mary Ann Badger

Mary Ann Badger, 79, of West Middlesex, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Greenville. Mrs. Badger was born on May 24, 1945, in Punxsutawney, PA, a daughter of the late Ida Zawansky and Dallas Lee "Bud" Clontz. She owned and operated the former Mary's Lounge on Stambaugh Ave., Sharon. After retiring, Mary enjoyed walking her therapy dog, Cinnamon, and visiting local nursing homes to lift the spirits of others. Her family will remember her for her delicious meals and deep love for animals, especially her cat, Smokey. She is survived by a daughter, Angela Hoffman-Penzerro, West Middlesex, PA; a son, Richard Larson, South Carolina; and seven grandchildren, Shelby, Andrew and Connor Larson, Ericka and Nikki Germadnik, Lee Hoffman, and Cole Millhoff. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, David Badger; and her daughter, Shelli (Larson) Germadnik. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Shenango Valley Animal Shelter, 2599 Broadway Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148. In keeping with Mary's wishes, there are no services.
