Craig attended Skowhegan schools. His first job as a teenager was working on Orris Hewett's farm. Later on, Craig worked for many woods businesses including Walter Parlin, Bruce Shaw, Ed McCarthy & Grandsons, and Stubby Viles Logging. Craig also worked for Vacuum Systems and Walker Industries.
In recent years, Craig could be found helping his brother Randy with many projects. He was also a big part of the racing family; he loved being part of the new "Race Shop" and at the racetracks helping and watching his nephews Butch, Chris, Corrie, Bryan and Dylan. He also enjoyed watching his brother Jeff at the pony pulls. Most of all, Craig loved spending time with all of his family and friends.
He is survived by four brothers, Carroll "Rick" Jr. and Ellen Bubier, Randy and wife, Nancy, Tim and Karen Robinson, and Jeff and wife, Laura; a sister, Marion Moore, and husband, Lonnie; nephews Butch (Karen) Lancaster, Christopher (Kari) Lancaster, Eddie Lancaster, Tim (Jamie) Lancaster, Corrie Moore, Bryan Lancaster and Dylan Lancaster; nieces Mandy (Chris) York, Casey (Jessie) Seavey and Courtney Lancaster; great-nephews Brandon Adams, Zachary Lancaster, Kaleb Moore and Austin Lancaster; great-nieces Jody (Glenn) Rose, Kristy Lancaster, McKayla Lancaster, Malynn Lancaster, Haylee York and Alexis Lancaster; as well as great-great nephews Kaden Rose, Jayce Rose and Gage Lancaster. Craig was predeceased by his parents, Carroll Sr. and Earleen Lancaster.
There will be no funeral or visitation hours. A graveside service in the spring will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dan & Scott's Cremation and Funeral Service, 445 Waterville Road, Skowhegan.
