Scott Moulton Obituary
WELLS -- Scott L. Moulton, 58, died in a motor vehicle accident on April 5, 2014.
Scott was born on Jan. 11, 1956, in Portsmouth, N.H., the son of Leslie C. and Zoe Ann (Syphers) Moulton. Scott graduated from Wells High School, Class of 1974. He served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Coast Guard where he was stationed on the Lightship Nantucket and Key West.
Scott enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being in the outdoors. He was a talented building contractor and had a keen ability to fix anything. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and at one time owned and operated the car washes in Wells, Kennebunk and North Berwick as well as a limousine service.
Scott is survived his parents, Les and Zoe Moulton; his brother, Ross E. and his wife Debbie Moulton, his sister, Traci A. Moulton; his loving partner, Nancy Richards; his children, Melissa, Zachary, Nicholas, Emily, Christopher and Abigail Moulton; several nephews, nieces; cousins; aunts and uncles; and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 111 Chapel Rd., Wells, with the Rev. Patricia Jones. The committal service will follow at 1 p.m. at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springvale with Military honors. I worked for Scott at his carwash in Wells in the 80s. For some reason I thought of him today and googled his name. I was so sad to find that he had passed 6 years ago. He was a friend and great person to work for and had a wonderful wife and children. God bless Scott and his family.
