It's matt_mcl from Cecil's place... Eve, my heartfelt condolences. Anyone who could have raised a true lady like you must have been a true lady herself.

Eve, you knew me as e-sabbath from Cecil's place. And as 'that guy who fixed your computer a few times.' I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I don't know where you are these days, but my e-mail hasn't changed, and I'm still at Cecil's.
If you want to talk, I'm here.

Dear Debbi & Eve,
I was honored to have had a relationship with your mother. I loved her art work and her wonderful sense of humor, and that we were both from the same neighborhood. You are both very fortunate to have been raised by such a loving, creative person. I will miss her!
Love,
Roberta

Mom would be touched by these kind messages. She was very modest about her own attributes- her kindness and empathy, her artistic talent, her editing and proof-reading skills (way before spell-check). We could never go to Suburban Square without a former student coming over to say hello. It is comforting to know she lives on as a fond memory for so many people. Debbi

Dear Debbie and Eve,
I'm sorry to learn of your mom's death. I hope you keep her good memories in your hearts. My memories of your mom go back to the 1960's when I came to your house every morning before walking to the bus stop and watched her get you ready for school. She was the June Cleaver mom!
I wish you both peace and comfort in your grieving.

Sending my sincere condolences to Debbi & Eve as I remember their lovely mother, Eleanore and how welcoming she made me feel during the many visits to their home during Debbi's and my college years. We last celebrated together at Debbi & Avery's wedding.
With fond memories, Debbie Eiser and Gary Marks

Mom loved working at Lower Merion and loved her students, too. She put off retiring till the last minute, and volunteered at charities after that; kept active museum-going and walking (a mile a day) till she had a stroke in 2003. Greatly missed by my sister and I and all her friends.

I was both a teacher at and parent of two Lower Merion High School students. Mrs. Golden was a favorite person of all. She was friendly, non-threatening, competent. Everyone at Lower Merion loved her.
I send my condolences.
