Alice Bond Obituary
MANSFIELD: Alice J. Tackett Bond, 64, of Mansfield, passed away following a lengthy illness Friday, June 8, 2012 in Cleveland Clinic.
Alice was born on February 14, 1948 in Mansfield to James and Janie (Hicks) Tackett. She enjoyed crocheting and being with her family, especially, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Joanna Williams, Seth (Tammy) Williams, Faith Williams, Phillip (Crystal) Williams, Jeramy (Corie) Bond, and Michael (Teresa) Williams all of Mansfield, and Anna Kaye Bond of Indiana; eleven grandchildren, Dakota, Dustin, Nakiah, Makilah, Brooke, King, Andrew, Wyatt, Madyson, Baylie, Jesse and Connor; one great-grandchild, Nevaeh; and two siblings, Carol Salyers and Charles (Cheryl) Tackett all of Mansfield.
Along with her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Bond; one daughter, Brandy Bond; and one sister, Wilma Hall.
Calling hours will be from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2012 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Castle officiating. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be may be made to family in care of the funeral home.
