June Clarice Coniglio

1919 - 2015

June Clarice Coniglio nee Tensfeldt 1919 - 2014 A native San Franciscan born to John and Clara Tensfeldt. Attended San Francisco schools and Commerce High. She married Charles Coniglio and they moved to Novato in 1950 to raise their family. June led a life centered around her family, volunteering with local PTAs, Lady of Loretto Mother's Guild, Catholic Daughters, Miwok 4-H and Novato Little League. As her children grew, June became employed by the Marin County School District. She later was employed by the U.S.P.O. in Tiburon where she enjoyed legions of happy customers. June studied all manner of dance and attended dramatic productions from Sonoma County to San Francisco, and performed with the Rohnert Park Kitchen Kutups. She also maintained a noteworthy garden and was a lifelong swimmer. June was predeceased by her siblings, Earl, Roy and Velma. She leaves her loving children Gail, Joyce, Cheryl and Barry. She is sorely missed by her grandchildren Marco, Carlo, Aneesa and Sienna. In addition, she delighted her great grands Carlo, Sophia, Annabella, Eva, Sicily and Gianna. The family expresses deep gratitude for a deeply, caring friendship with Emily and her loving caretaker Nona. A celebratory mass will be observed on September 25, 2015, 11:00 AM, Our Lady of Loretto Church, 1806 Novato Blvd., Novato. In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring June by remembering her to North Bay Alzheimer's Association., Hospice by the Bay or Marin Sierra Club. You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived.
