Jeffrey Seckel Obituary
MT. GILEAD: Jeffrey Earl Seckel, 48, Mt. Gilead, OH, passed away unexpectedly at work Monday, February 16, 2015.
Jeff was born in Marion, OH on November 28, 1966, to James H. and Sherry (Shaffer) Seckel.
Jeff is survived by his parents; siblings, Joel (Shella) Seckel, Jill (Dave) Bloedel and Jodee (Rob) Wagner; nieces and nephews, Christa and Katie Seckel, Luke and Jocelyn Bloedel, Drew, Nate and Kaelyn Wagner; aunts and uncles, Rex (Nancy) Shaffer, Mary (George) Daniels, Barbara (Wade) Payne; many cousins, work associates and friends.
Jeff graduated from Mount Gilead High School in 1986 and spent 30 years working for the local Recycling Company. Jeff was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and the Morrow County Antique Tractor Equipment Association, Inc. He enjoyed farming, John Deere Tractors, NASCAR, watching the Cincinnati Bengals, country music, the Morrow County Fair and parading his antique tractor at numerous antique tractor shows.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, February, 20, 2015, 5-8 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 75 East High Street, Mount Gilead, OH 43338 with the Funeral Service on Saturday, February 21, 2015, 11AM at the Church with visitation 1 hour prior.
