I was so shocked to hear about the Passing of Jimmy. I worked side by side with Jim at Westover in the C-130 ISO Docks. I was new to the C-130s and Jimmy took me under his wings. He was a great Guy and a great Mechanic who served his country well. Jimmy was a very strong Person. He used to tell me about his times working on cars. He told me he lifted a Car engine off the bench one time and took it over to the car he was putting it in. Although it has been several years since I last saw Jim I never forgot him and he had a lasting impression on my life. I was honored to meet his Son who was in the Air Force as well when I was Deployed to Germany as a C-5 Maintainer, right after 911. Jimmy was one of a Kind who I will never forget. Larry E. Parker Msgt Retired Westover ARB.

I worked with Jim for many years when I first arrived at Westover. He was one of the biggest people with a great sense of humor! Good speed Jim!

Jim was a wonderful guy to work with in Support Shop at Westover. He was what made going to reserve weekend fun and I learned much from him. May he rest in peace.
