I became friendly with Janet at JGS Lifecare when a family member was also a resident there. She was friendly and warm and spoke about her family with great affection. She also cherished her life in Westfield and the community of her church. I quickly noticed that Janet took great interest in her fellow residents and readily took those who needed some extra attention or support under her wing. I learned that she had passed away at a memorial service at the unit on which she lived and was greatly saddened. She was remembered at the service by staff and fellow residents with great affection. I will remember her in the same way.
