Antoinette "Toni" Tallarico

Antoinette "Toni" (Digilio) Tallarico went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at her son's home in Hanover Township, surrounded by her family. She was 92. Born in Nesquehoning, PA; she was a daughter of the late Vito and Josephine (Alongi) Digilio. Her great devotion to family was fostered from childhood, being raised in a loving home with ten siblings. She was the cherished wife of James Tallarico, of Bethlehem. All who entered Toni's home experienced her gift of hospitality, being graciously welcomed and offered something to eat that was wonderfully made and beautifully presented. The highlight of this was Sunday "pasta" dinners, the table filled with her children, grandchildren, and guests. Much more than the amazing food, it was an expression of her love. Along with her cooking and baking, she enjoyed sewing, music, and had a deep love for her country that was often expressed in the enjoyment and singing of patriotic songs. Above all, she will be remembered by her family for being a devout Roman Catholic, committed to prayer, and by the legacy of her Christian Faith.

SURVIVORS: Surviving are her five children, Joanne Collura, Bethlehem; Vincent Tallarico and wife, Gena, Bethlehem; Joseph Tallarico and wife, Maria, Springtown; Rose Brantingson and husband, Scott, Bethlehem; Christopher Tallarico and wife, Marcia of Bethlehem; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, and one sister. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband James, one grandson, Michael Anthony, three brothers and three sisters.

SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 1 P.M. concluded by a service in the church. Burial will be a private ceremony in Holy Savior Cemetery. Toni's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
