Mark & Suzanne: You will miss him so much. We are going to miss those visits each year here in Gravenhurst when we were so very lucky to have him with us for a few hours, regaling us with stories of travels with you two and on his own. We enjoyed as well talking over teaching days with him at GHS. He was one of a kind -- so trite, but in this case, so very true. We have some wonderful photos of him from Gravenhurst days we would like to share. If you would contact us, I will send you copies. We will hold him in our hearts and memory. Mark and Suzanne, I only got to meet your dad a couple of times briefly, but I admired his zest for life and all the activities he was involved in - he had a life everyone could admire and strive for.

We will miss our calls to and from Don. He always hung onto his Australian heritage with pride. He was always very interested in all our families. Keeping Intouch on facebook which was great for him and them. We wish you the best to get you through the next few months we will keep Intouch. Also to let you know that his Aus family have photos of Don and his adventures on fridges and albums in our homes.

Mark, Sue and family,
Sad to hear of Uncle Don's passing. It doesn't seem that long ago that he was in our house on his last visit back " home " It was always a pleasure catching up with Don, either over here or over your way. It was always a bit strange having an Uncle who lived in another country, but it was always a bit exotic when you listened to some of his tales. It has been a pleasure catching up and knowing him and you blokes.

Hi Mark and Suzanne. I am truly sorry to hear about Don. For as long as I have known him I always admired his ability to be actively involved in many different things. That simply never changed. He knew how to live life with the unique "Hull" kind of zest and sense of humour that I came to admire and appreciate many years ago, not only through my association with Mark, but with all of his family as well. Mark and Suzanne, I hope you are doing as well as can be. I am thinking about you.

Hello, Mark and Suzanne. Yesterday's Gravenhurst Banner brought a sudden shock, with so many memories coursing through our brains, of days with your mother, dad, you and Roy. We're sorry, but , difficult though it is for the survivors, it's likely most of us would prefer a rapid exit for ourselves. I'll send a memorial gift to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation. I can't find your address, ,probably because I don't have it, but if you will provide it to [email protected], I'll be in touch.

Our sincere condolences to Mark, Suzanne, and their family; as well as Don's extended family. We were fortunate to have met Don; and admired his many accomplishments during his lifetime; as well as his passion for life, and still being involved in so many activities. We will raise a toast to Don tomorrow in Ontario.

Don was a good friend, fellow teacher and rival footie coach. We've shared many a meal and laugh. Wish it could have gone on forever.
