Dear Huber Family,

I was shocked and so very saddened on hearing the news that Gerhard is no longer with us. I want to extend my deepest sympathies to all of you for your loss.

I have great memories of Gerhard and will always remember his wonderful smile and what a great guy he was. He could always make me laugh and was a genuinely nice guy. We will all miss Gerhard very much, but he will live on in the hearts and thoughts of all of us that knew him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all and with Gerhard too. May God bless you all.

Dear Gerhard,
It's amazing how many lives you have touched. I wish you could see how many people loved and cared about you. This has been the most difficult time ever for our family and no words can express the sadness we feel in our heart over the loss of such a special Brother.
You were much more than a Brother Goob; you were a good friend. Even though the time we spent and got to see you was all too infrequent, when we were together our bonds were reinforced by the simplest of hugs, closeness of our family and great conversation.
I thank God for giving me such a wonderful Brother and feel blessed to have had you in my life.
You will always remain with us through the rest of our lives and the wonderful and happiest of memories will never be forgotten.
Love You Forever!
Tony and Diane

Dear Huber Family,
I am so sorry for your loss of Gerhard. I worked with him at Chain Bike and we were good friends. We shared the same birth date and year. So every year I think about him on our birthday. Needless to say how shocked I was when I saw he passed on that day as well. He was a fun guy and I will always have fond memories of him.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

Dear Huber family, I was saddended to hear the news of Gerhard's passing. I knew Gerhard while we were growing up both with Coplay Sports (Baseball) and in school. I'll always remember him as easy going, with a sense of humor and smiling. He was just a great guy to know. Although, I didn't see him much after he moved away, he still frequented my thoughts regularly. My thoughts are with all of you today. Being of an Austrian background myself, we don't have to say good-bye to Gerhard today, we can say "Auf Weidersehen", until we see each other again. Rest in peace Gerhard, we'll miss you.

Mr. and Mrs. Huber, Steve and Tony, and the rest of Gerhard's family I haven't the pleasure to meet:
My very deepest sympathies go out to all of you at this sad time. As others have said, growing up on 3rd street was truly something special that I wouldn't trade for anything. I don't think there are many kids today who could comprehend the closeness of the friendship among the 3rd street bunch of kids. Memories flood back about all the things we did growing up, and as they do I remember particularly that Goobs was a tough and competitive athlete, but more importantly he was always upbeat, happy, easygoing, and in many many ways the one that we all looked up to. My life is better because of knowing him. My and my families thoughts and prayers are with you, and please accept our most sincere condolances.

To Gerhard's entire family, we want to extend our most heartfelt sympathy. We've known Gerhard since he was very young and lived next door to us in Coplay. He was always quiet, very polite, and always had a smile. It was always a pleasure to talk to him. He was such a talented young man, and had much to give. He will live on in in the hearts of all who knew him. May he now be carried by the Angels in Gods Paradise. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
