Dear George and family,
I am so sad to hear of Gloria's passing. We last spoke at Yoga class when she told me she had a serious decision to make. I prayed for her.
We exchanged great ideas years ago at Book Club. I could always depend on Gloria's beautiful smile when I referred to writers and artists that she knew and loved, as I did. She was so gracious, so talented.
I shall never forget the cold, miserable winter day, when I received a beautiful picture on my computer. It was from Gloria. She had walked down the path by our home in the summer and taken pictures of the lovely flowers that my husband had planted around our patio . She sent that picture on that gloomy day to brighten our thoughts and remind us that spring and summer would soon return. Sooo Gloria! I was proud and happy that she had appreciated the blooms and colors we had chosen.
May God bless all of you and Gloria. I know you have lovely memories of this lovely woman that will comfort you.

Gloria was always taking care of others. She was a true family person and cared about others. She loved her children and grandchildren. In our phone conversation the week before she died she talked about her grandsons and how pleased she was about each of their accomplishments. Our condolences go to George and the children.

A lovely lady. I remember Gloria when our children were young and we both lived in Greenwich and were members of the Church of the Archangels. I have a sweet memory of her visit to my house with the twins. Fairly new to walking, they approached two steps down to the hall, and I was concerned. Gloria calmly said, "turn" and they swiftly and safely reversed direction, smiling as they came back into the living room.
Condolences to George and their children.

To my school chum; I treasure our walking home from Allentown High memories.
Our Sunday, afternoon tea times were always a treat to look forward too especially when you walked in with your freshly-baked, Greek cookies!
Gloria, I see you when I look at the wonderful paintings that were gifts through the years.
You made the gardens come alive on canvas.
Your presence in my life will always hold a special place in my heart. We shared a true, honest and loving friendship.
Dear George, I send sympathy and prayers to you and the family as you all face the trying days ahead.
Your memories are your best friends.
Love, Jane and wags from Katie girl
