Lillian Hajewski Obituary
Lillian R. Hajewski, 97, of Allentown, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. She was the wife of the late Joseph T. Hajewski. Born in Allentown. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Emma (Scherer) Grider. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Allentown and the former Salem U.C.C., Allentown. She served as a former treasurer at the Opti- Mrs. Club of Allentown. She volunteered at Allentown Hospital from 1962-1990. Survivors: Son, Thomas J. and his wife Virginia (Woods) Hajewski of Edinboro; daughter, Sylvia A. Hajewski at home; granddaughters, Anna (Hajewski) Loewen and her husband James of Chandler,AZ and Julia M. Hajewski of Austin,TX; great-granddaughter twins Tess and Kate Loewen; and many nieces and nephews. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at First Presbyterian Church 3231 W. Tilghman St. Allentown, PA 18104. Calling 10-11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Arrangements: Trexler Funeral Home, Allentown. www.trexlerfuneralhome.com. Interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, may be made to the church and/or the charity of ones choice.

Sylvia and Thomas,
Suffice it to say, our entire family wishes to express our condolences over the loss of your Mother, and our life-long friend and neighbor, "Lil", she will be missed by our family and everyone that grew to know your dear, sweet Mother over the years. The neighborhood just won't ever feel the same without your parents' presence. You and your family are always in our prayers, but especially now, during this, your time of sorrow.

Sylvia, I'm so sorry for your loss. We keep crossing paths - PHS'64, Muhlenberg Volunteers, etc. You cared for your parents so lovingly while they were alive. Sorry I'm leaving Friday and can't attend the service. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Jeanie (Boyda) Keller
