Linda Shifter Vasquez

Linda Shifter Vasquez, 75, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Robert Vasquez, with whom she shared over 52 years of loving marriage. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of Louis and Lydia (Illes) Shifter. Linda was a graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1965. She worked as the Secretary to the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Bethlehem for over 33 years. Most recently, Linda worked as a receptionist at Country Meadows, Bethlehem. Linda was always stylish and enjoyed pampering her self. Linda's family would like to extend their gratitude to Cedarbrook Nursing Home, 3rd floor, station 5, staff for the great care and comfort they provided.

SURVIVORS: In addition to her loving husband Robert of Bethlehem, she will be lovingly remembered by her brother Thomas Shifter and his wife Maria of Bethlehem; step daughter Shelly Hever and her husband Neil of Bethlehem; step sons Robert Vasquez and his husband Benjamin of New Orleans, Mark Vasquez and his companion Caryn Laubach of Bethlehem, Craig Vasquez of Bethlehem and Eric Vasquez of Bethlehem and her loving granddaughter Madilyn Nicole Molle Vasquez. Linda was preceded in death by her loving son Michael R. Vasquez, who passed away on April 17, 2023 and her brother Robert Shifter.

SERVICES: A Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11 A.M. until time of the service in the funeral home.
