Mary Hartzell

Mary ''Cass'' Hartzell, 88, of Allentown, formerly of S. 10th Street, Allentown, died Dec. 29 in her home. She was the wife of the late Julius O. Hartzell. Born in Plainfield, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Catherine (Ludgate) DeRemer. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Allentown, and the Women of Grace. Survivors: Daughters, Judith M. of Emmaus, Karen S. Stuber of Kempton; sisters, June Sweeney of Allentown, Clara Golden of Bensalem, Bucks County; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Friday, Sell-Herron Funeral Home, 1145 Lehigh St., Allentown. Call 1-2 p.m. Friday. Contributions: To the church.
