My family and I were blessed to have Bob Jones in our lives as a good friend and neighbor to my mom Ellie. He was the one she called when she suffered a mild stroke several years back. He got her to the hospital on time and she recovered fully, for which we are all grateful. He was always available for dog sitting and ride-sharing. I have fond memories of his weekend visits to my Mom's house. He'd come bearing gourmet gifts fresh from the Farmer's market, and usually a book or two - particularly cookbooks which my Mom enjoyed. Besides his love for books, he was an avid patron of the arts, always ready for an outing to local concerts, plays and films. I'm really grateful for the many years we had Bob in our lives. He will be sorely missed.
