Charles Simpson

Resident of San Jose

11/4/1945 - 5/12/2012

Charles Simpson lived and died with great strength and courage. Surrounded by family he passed away peacefully on May 12th after a brief battle with cancer.

He is survived by his mother Mary Simpson, his brother Frank, sisters Hilda and Virginia, daughter Sonnya, grandson Russell, great granddaughter Jasmine, and many nephews, nieces and their children.

Charles was born November 4th 1945 in Juno, Texas. San Jose, CA, became his home for 57 years. He graduated from San Jose High School and served in the Army from 1967-1969. His passion was working on cars and motorcycles. He was meticulous and took great pride in his work.

He is loved by many and will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Memorial services will be held on Wed, May 23, at 7pm at the San Jose Funeral Service, 1050 S. Bascom Ave., San Jose. Charles will be laid to rest with military honors at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery on May 24th in a private burial service attended by family and close friends.

Chuck was a cool guy I met from Carry Ecker. She really had love for this guy and I could see why. He kept it real unlike alot of guys that are around. You will be missed Chuck.
