To those who knew and loved Jim, I share in your loss. Jim and I have worked together to fit his contact lenses since 1976. He was one of my first patients and we became dear friends. I learned of his illness in May and we emailed in early June. When he missed an appointment I feared the worst and phoned leaving a message that wasn't returned.
He was beloved by me and the Optical staff who knew him by name, made his appointments and laughed with him each and every visit.Receptionists who knew him in the 1970s and 80s still ask for him. He made a point to know all of us.
We are all saddened by his loss. We will miss his friendship and his visits.
Our heartfelt sympathy to all you held him dear. He's irreplacable.
Sincerely,
Judy Holcomb OD
